Dominic Von Stephen Atencio is the writer and creator of The 4th Door, an online publication driven by humor, music, sports, fashion, and culture. Through the endeavor, Atencio has developed a platform to share his ideas and thoughts that appeal to readers of all ages, cultures, and genres.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Atencio aims to entertain readers through his witty and quick sense of humor. Citing influences such as Richard Pryor and Bill Simmons, Atencio shoots to “make the day better for people, 5 minutes at a time” with his writing. Atencio has based his writing on the premise of “hard work, tomfoolery, and lots and lots of fun".
Atencio was also one of the Co-Creators of Lard Lifestyle Brand, a Denver based Streetwear Label. During his time with the company, he led efforts in brand recognition as well as having a hand in running business operations with the label.
He currently resides in Denver with his son, Bonafacio Von Stephen Atencio.
